From Tallahassee or New Orleans:

Follow I-10 to Pensacola, FL take Exit 13 turn North on Davis Highway follow for approximately 1/3 mile.  Merge left and follow onto University Parkway until it dead ends on campus. 

From Montgomery:

Follow I-65 South to Exit 69 (AL Hwy 113).  Turn left on 113 and follow until it dead ends. Turn right and continue on 113 for about one mile. Turn left (south) on Highway 29 continue for approximately 30 minutes.  You will exit on Alt Rt 90/Nine Mile Road on your right.  Then turn left (east) at the light.  Follow this to University Parkway, turn left and follow it until it dead ends on campus.

Once you dead end on Campus:

Varsity soccer field turn right continue for one mile.  Look for Track or Varsity Field sign and turn right into the parking lot. The field is inside the track.

Field House turn left and then turn right into the second parking lot.  The building is on the left.

HLES Building turn left and then turn right into the second parking lot.  It is the new building on the far left. 

Intramural field turn left and then turn right into the second parking lot.  Walk along the right side of the Field House and head down the hill on your right. 

Martin Hall turn right continue down the hill, at the first light turn left.  Martin Hall is on your right at the next light.  

Argo Hall turn right continue down the hill, at the first light turn left.  Make a right at the next light and go to the top of the hill.  Look for Argo Hall sign and turn left.   Argo and Pace Hall face each other with Argo Hall on the left. 

Pace Hall turn right continue down the hill, at the first light turn left.  Make a right at the next light and go to the top of the hill.  Look for Pace Hall sign and turn left.  Argo and Pace Hall face each other with Pace Hall on your right. 

 

 

Frequently Asked Questions:

 

1.  Is their an athletic trainer?

             Yes, there is an athletic trainer on-site 30 minutes before training and at all sessions.  If you need anything please be early to the session.  Please inform the trainer is you have any pre-existing injuries, conditions or allergies. 

             The trainers do provide water and Gatorade for all sessions.  Please bring your own container.

 

2.  Can I register On-Site?

             We would prefer that you register in advance so that we can make the necessary accommodations.  On-site registration will NOT be allowed for overnight campers because we have to secure the rooms in advance. 

If you are registering after July 13th, please contact Chrissy Elliott, 850-554-6148, to confirm your spot.

 

3.  When will I get a confirmation?

             We try to email confirmations by July 13th.  Please note that if you have sent in an ineligible email, or no email, you will not get a confirmation. 

             No problem, come to camp as scheduled, with an extra copy of your paperwork and we will get your registered!  

            

4.  What should I bring?

             ALL CAMPERS SHOULD BRING:

Indoor (athletic/tennis shoe—non-cleat) shoes

Outdoor shoes

Shinguards

Soccer Ball

Spending Money

Water jug, bugspray, sunscreen

Swimsuit and swim accessories (You will be told in advance what day we will use the pool)

             OVERNIGHT CAMPERS should additionally bring:

Towels, pillows, and bedding for a single-sized bed

 

5.  Out of town Campers

             If you are flying in and need transportation to and/or from the airport, please contact Chrissy Elliott and email your itinerary to info@westfloridasoccer.com, 850-554-6148.  Fee for airport pick-up $10, drop-off $10. 

             If you need to stay an extra night before or after camp, please contact Chrissy Elliott to make arrangements and discuss expenses. 

 

6.  Where can I park on campus?  Can I leave during camp?

             Commuters/parents should park in the water tower parking lot across the way from the HLES/Gym.  If you park on campus during posted hours please stop by the Visitors Center to get a parking tag so you do not get a ticket.  Park in designated areas only, please. 

             Commuters are not allowed to leave campus at anytime during camp.  We are responsible for you so you must remain with the camp until you are dismissed each day.  Thanks in advance for your cooperation. 

 

7.  Paying for camp.

             We now have PayPal to take care of portions or full payments of your camp.  Be sure to follow the steps to get a confirmation number from PayPal in case of any discrepancy. 

             Your $50 deposit for camp is due by July 13th, 2008.  The remainder of the balance can be taken care of between then and camp or on-site during check-in. 

             We also accept, cash, checks and money orders made out to International Centers of Excellence, or ICE.
